bernie
Hi Bernie ; Just a few thoughts ... 1.Bike needs ducati coil ... 2. Kill switch lead is there somewhere shorting your ignnition ...??##%%??? 3. Bike is about 30 years old ! pull off the sidecover and flywheel , buy some quality wire in the correct colors and get your soldering iron and heatshrink tubing out and rewire the ignition !!! So ypu know it's right , a dead bike on the trail is a pia for all involved !!! (and a poor connection or a broken wire that you may never find could be the whole problem .) 4. ENJOY the heck out of the bike and learn all about her ! THEY ARE FANTASTIC BIKES !!! Have Fun ! Glenn Hi Glenn, That's a good advise! I can't stand it when something works / not works, and i don't know what the exact problem is...... So i will change the wires and reconnect and iron all cables with new ones. I knwo the bike; i rode it 25 years ago (when i was young.....snif snif...) in competition and at that time it felt as a superiour bike. A little bit heavy but with the tork of a hummer! It's a lot better then the Honda TLR200 (is for sale......) Bernie Edited April 28, 2011 by Bernie
