bernie
Just put my new Mikuni VM26 on my Fantic 300 and after adjusting the carb it runs fine. During my practice today i noticed that the carb has an overlfow by the three overflow nozzles. Does anyone now waht this may be? It's a brandnew, un opened, Mikuni carb. billyt
Oh Oh Bernie. Get ready for an onslaught as this topic has been talked to death by many fine people on this site. Please refer to the posted link that will guide you in setting this catb up correctly. Once done the issue will go away. PS: These "the carb has an overlfow by the three overflow nozzles" are not actualy overflow tubes/nozzles etc but rather vent holes to allow the carb to reach atmospheric pressure. Good luck. BillyT Ha ha ha .......OK let the games begin!! If they are vent holes, i can understand my problem a little bit better; there's to much atmospheric pressure in the carb, otherwise they would'nt overflow. So i have to solve a pressure problem. Perhaps by adjusting the floater, so that there is a little less fuel in the carb? I will contact my supplies, www.snezzy.be, for further inquiry. Thanks for the reply BillyT Cheers, Bernie (a newby Fantic forum user after a 25years trials retirement.... :-) ) Edited May 5, 2011 by Bernie

The carb hangs a little bit to the right side so both the floaters have a different adjustment. Runs like a new one.....
