only really want a detachable one, but how does yours look? is it a big ugly looking thing? is it a goose neck one? if so, how does your bike rack fit on it?

Ginger, you can't use a bike rack with a "Swan Neck" towbar, has to be a British Std 2 bolt towball type.

You can if you wish unbolt the neck when not in use as the electrics socket is part of the main cross bar.

Be it swan neck or BS all type approved towbars fit to the same mounting points as per EU94/20, just the neck style is different.

Or better still drop Andy a mail at graffics.co.uk.

Make a template of the mudguard shape, the get the registration letters/numbers made to measure !

It may not be legal but looks so professional it will have the boys in blue scratching their heads :)

Beats Perce's felt pen any day

Will post a pic later

I used paint to make my number plate, I just made a yellow background, then I went on a number plate registration website where you type your number plate in and it shows you a preview of it (so that I got the correct font), I copied and pasted the letters, then i printed it, laminated it and used some super glue to stick it to the rear mudguard.

I did similar, printed it on photo paper, superglued it to the mudguard, then varnished it.

Lasted a few trials at least so far.

I could do with getting hold of some sticker stuff to print on. That'd make it easier.

If you want to be posh Sign of the Time can you make you a sticky number plate to stick on you mudguard. www.signofthetime.co.uk

Obviously it isn't legal size e.t.c but it a good effort and shows willing!
