mik60ish
Having recently bought a 1974 tl125 it seems lacking in power, need a manual for the engine, would a Haynes CB or CG 125 suffice, or an alternative Honda engine? wheels & frame not a problem as these only need a good clean etc.
andyrothers
CG is a pushrod engine, try a haynes manual for an xl125 as it's ohc (I made the mistake of buying a cg125 manual....) Andy.
ikb
Sammy miller used to do a 150cc conversion for the tl125 in the 70,s I can remember riding one both before and after the conversion it made a noticable difference. They may be still available I'm sure someone will know!!!

g4321
try a haynes manual for an xl125 had a look at my Haynes XL/XR 80 - 200 manual - its for post 78 engines. I think there is a Haynes CB125 single manual which is for the earlier engines which may be more suited. Then again the basic engine design is identical! jeephoto
Here is a link to a webpage about TL125's, with descriptions and photos. At the bottom of each description is a small photo and where to buy the Clymer manual for the TL125. It is the number "M315" Clymer manual; that is what I use for my TL125.
