torin1
After turning on the front wheel and landing the rear wheel the carb goes WOT and wont release without shutting the engine down, turning the throttle make no difference. Start the bike up again and its fine until I bang the rear wheel down again. Bikes a GG 250 pro 2010. I'm thinking there is an easy fix as people must have come across this before. Any suggestions? torin1
Check the cable routing. Cables fine, no change in revs from lock to lock.
laser1
Im with TFT on this. The cable is probably binding against the tank/frame.
hrcmonty
Surely Laws of Physics say, if your slamming your back wheel down, the Carb Slide would be forced shut. So yeah i agree, check cable. Firstly rule out the cable getting stuck on the tank, remove the tank and start the bike and do what you do to make it mal function. If it still does it with the tank off, it's not that. I would suggest taking the carb off and give a clean, whilst that is off remove the cable from the bike, and check how smooth it is. You may possibly have a few broken strands within the housing. Then just re route the cable. And try again.
