craftypiggy
I use Renthal medium grips and they are excellent, they help when I'm holding on tight going fast or up a hill Lloyd
doughbouysherco
Try foam grips with end caps such as monty, have a look on: www.cleanbikes.co.uk
wobbly1
I previously used the Renthal medium grips but found they were fairly easily damaged when you drop the bike. (I know - don't drop it and they won't get damaged ) I've since tried Hebo grips and they seem a bit harder on the ends so not as prone to damage - or am I just riding better these days??? craftypiggy
I noticed that too, but I invested in some aluminium bar ends and they soon cured it, and saved my throttle tube a hammering to Lloyd

I'm on about a trials cycle, hence why I posted in the bike trials forum.
hughesy
Hello Boof, You've obviuosly got too much time and money on your hands!! Aren't you supposed to be working? Anyway get some ODI Lock ons, they're superb and get a bonus pack with lock rings and grips from chain reaction. Ruffians and Rogue's are my preference. well worth the money! Here; http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=399 Which Onza have you got?

boofont
Front freecrank (is that what its called?) with hs33's. To be honest, the brakes are great with no tar and that's with the normal black pads. One finger is enough, they're not far of my hyd discs on the mountain bike. boofont
What about velcro? One bit on the pads and the other on the rim, would that work?
sam
Ruffians or ODI, what ever as long as it locks on with a screw! The greatest thing you can do for your new bike is if it has HS 33's swap out the brake pads if there stock, buy Plazmatics or KOXX Bloxx's pads! We do not use Tar, I'm not saying its bad or anything, we simply grind the rims and use after market pads, and also use Simple Green like crazy cleaning the rims. The one thing I do know is if you are learning to hop on the back wheel make sure the brakes lock up! I tryed to learn rear wheel hops with the worst brakes ever and suffered greatly. But the most important thing (correct me if I'm wrong) hook up with other natural style bike trials riders!
