miny
Do the same bearings fit all txt pro's swingingarm? The reason I ask is that I bought these ebay and I don't think they actually fit, although I'm no mechanic. I found on another site selling swingingarm bearings that they were selling them up to and including 2003, which makes me think they changed after 2003 and that the bearings supplied are the wrong ones. I have fitted the rest of the bearings BTW. I have a 2003 TXT. Edited May 29, 2011 by Miny

I have fitted the rest of the bearings BTW. I have a 2003 TXT. I checked the swingarm bearings for the 2001 TXT "Edition" type model (older model) and the 2003 TXT Pro model (newer model) and the part numbers, "C100001", are the same so the bearings fit both the older and newer models around those years. I then took a 2004 model for comparison and the bearing part number was BT280212032, so there is a possibility they may be different. I say possibility in that sometimes the part number will be changed (updated) but the actual part is the same. Jon
peterb
Around that time, 2003/4 the bearing was changed from a caged needle roller to a teflon lined sleeve. While the ID of both types of bearings will be the same, I am not sure if the OD is the same. Bye, PeterB.

Your correct, they are actually not bearings at all, they are sleeves
