Maybe you mate didn't get bike warmed up and stalled it rather then stopped with kill button and fouled plug or similar.

Be interesting to get bike running and warm and try old plug back in.

As a side note I put very a very freshly oiled filter in mine Friday night (rushing a bit) and bike was a pig to start first thing sat am. Was maybe firing occasionally. This I find is very common with solvent type filter oils. I just kept turning engine over slowly with max throttle and then reset and normal start. Fired up eventually and been fine ever since.

he probably did everything wrong !!
