Anyone out there lucky enough to have the new Raga Rep and able to comment on the Reiger shock??

Interesting to see what people say.

Heard they are a lot of money so would hope that money is worth while.

This from 'Leanin' on US Thumpertlk- he rode the importers at the PA NATS-

Gandalf, I test rode Dale's new 300 Raga at the PA national. Of course, I didn't ride anything big. But, was VERY impressed with the suspension on the rocks I rode. It was very smooth and soaked up rocks that my '10 GG 300 would've been bouncing over. I was much more impressed with the suspension than I expected. I was happy with my '10 GG until riding the new Raga. I expect you'll be very happy with the new Raga. I think Dale said he'd made a minor clicker adjustment to get the bike so smooth. But, I don't recall the exact details of the adjustment. If I was getting a new Raga, I'd find out and use Dale's settings since I'm not much of a tinkerer.

Sounded fairly positive- maybe in a month I can tell you more about how they ride....

Rode it for 3 hours and no complaints! Much better damping than standard! Does need the sag adjusting but guessing that's as it's just wearing in!

Ok, third time out today and first trial on the raga. Had last years raga and power wise the new one seemed to have more power (both 300's), think thats just its newness... however fitted the long S3 exhaust and now its very smooth and feels really good.

So on to the rear shock...

The trial I rode today I have been riding it every year for nearly 10 years, and section 2 is always at the same stream/waterfall (really good section). I have never got to the end without putting my feet down in any given year...until today.

Bike seemed to be very planted, much more planted than the old one and when rattling up the initial stream bed before the step it just soaked up every bump but kept gripping.

With the damping on the new shocker when hitting a double step theres not as much urgency to go again, you can almost ride with more delay/control - somehow feels like you have more time!

Very impressed with the new shock! Never had an ohlins so cant compare but if there anything similar I wish I had got one years ago.

Also sorted the sag, bottom linkage just needed tweaking up after the first time out.

Downside: Only downside to the raga so far is that they have changed the chain guard so my boots are looking very tired even quicker and cow s**t doesnt half take some getting off the white forks.
