stevecollie Posted July 2, 2011 Report Share Posted July 2, 2011 (edited) Check the post Beta Drowned Not such the quick fix after all The bike took a dunking last week (2008 rev 3 200) It died after about ten mins of the soaking I'd thought I'd fixed it (with a hair dryer & wd40) It appears not so Theres No Spark....................................... How do I check the coil and the stator? I've done that and scooshed it with WD I think its the black and white cable from the switch, just unplug the connector and it should stop it from earthing out. I'm now getting a spark But it aint bursting into life yet (nearly once)when I hit the side of the carb with a spanner So I drained out all the fuel (Tank & Carb) Replaced with new But still no joy I'll strip the carb in the morning & see what happens Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
