arun1664 Posted March 14, 2005 Report Share Posted March 14, 2005 I dont have a scorpa but I do have a late model TY, which I guess has the same (or similar) gearbox and it is not that cleaver at getting into gear and does jump out if you don't select properly. Also I spent 20 minutes watching a section a couple of weeks ago and one fella with a scorpa certainly did the most tap dancing trying to select a gear before entering the section. Bottom line is if you make sure the gear is seleceted fully and it jumps out and it is always the same gear you may have a problem, otherwise it probably just a "feature" of Yamaha gearboxes. mattygoodness Posted February 4, 2006 Report Share Posted February 4, 2006 ive got 95 Scorpa and same problems, once engine was stripped i found gears stripped ... 500 quid for the parts in UK 250 from USA.
