Hi,

I thought that I had better say 'hi' before diving into the forum with questions.

I have just rescued a Villiers 'Sprite' from an chap that lives locally to me. It has been in his shed since 1974, mainly in bits including the engine and gearbox, but hey, I like a challenge! I think it was one of those things that he was going to get around to, but realised that he never would. It has come with boxes of spares and bits, all I've got to do is work out how it goes back together..............!

I have used 'Google' to try and gather information and this was how I located the forum. From the pictures on the internet, it looks like a 'Monza'. This afternoon, whilst cleaning up the frame, I found the frame number 87, so it would seem to be quite and early one.

Better get back to cleaning up the frame!

Matt.
