phildyn
Hi, Just joined and I was after some advice with an early Gas Gas trials bike I have bought. It is a 1989 air cooled mono shock, sold to me as a 250, (though I dont know how you check that - frame number starts 89, but not sure on engine size). It runs fine, but after my first outing the weeping forkseal has turned into a pouring fork seal! anyone know where I can buy seals from, the amount and type of oil needed and anything I need to know about taking the forks apart? i dont suppose there is a manual for this year is there? any help appreciated thanks Phil
gilbertdave
Hi Phil, There is a manual for the front suspension, but I can't see one for the bike overall.. click here for the forks manual. It may help a little. Other than that, I'm sure someone on here can offer some wise words.
