stevecollie Posted September 9, 2011 Report Share Posted September 9, 2011 I had a funny experience last night Unloaded the 4RT out of the truck, started it, 1st time as per Ran around for about 1/2hr Then Loads of noise....................Not going anywhere I took it the clutch was knackered But it hadn't showed signs of dragging in the past Lent the bike against a tree And farted around with my mate for an 1hr Started the bike up again away it went no issues But after another 1/2hr it started to slip again............... copemech Posted September 10, 2011 Report Share Posted September 10, 2011 Perhaps your clutch lever is not adjusted properly! There chould be some slight clearance where the pin on the lever pushes the piston in the M/C, otherwise it cannot return fully and vent the heated fluid.
