copemech Posted September 15, 2011 Report Share Posted September 15, 2011 The bikes are all good, ridership tends to vary upon area. As a new rider, you might want to stick with nothing bigger than a 250, but you are well advised to ride a few different bikes, at some point you still will need to pick your poison and ride what you brung, cause none of them are perfect either! lee_e Posted September 15, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 15, 2011 Thanks guys The only reason I was looking at a 290 beta evo is that I read the power delivery is smoother than the 250 so you get more grip - hopefully someone can comment on that assumption. plichhayy Posted September 27, 2011 Report Share Posted September 27, 2011 the beta is awsome my buddy that i drive with has the 2011 evo 290 2t .. its an animal and by now means too much or anythin for beging, the power delivery is superrrr smooth, the only thing i found being new to the sport was how light it seams up front...but i mean lighter the beta .. feels like yer ridin a mountain bike wita motor its awsome man and not only that its probley arguable to best looking trials in my opinion he has the all white wit red n black decals black weels u know its awsomeee !! hope your happy with whatever choice you go with bro..cheers! lee_e Posted September 27, 2011 Author Report Share Posted September 27, 2011 I've ended buying a Beta evo 250 2010 as it was in excellent condition - only seen 11 clubman trials and still on the original tyre and sprocket.
