cota kid
I seem to have accumulated more scratches on my frame in 2 trials than I did in riding my previous Sherco for a year. Apart from covering up the wounds with stickers, does anyone have any suggestions for making them look a little less angry. Thanks
marky boy
Hey Cota , i would serously consider wrapping the whole bike in pipe lagging if your going to continue to ride in rocky trials
perce
You could consider not crawling along on your hands & knees dragging the bike along occasionally.
cota kid
Perce, So you've noticed my distinct riding style then? Marky Boy, Similar to a puppy not being just for Christmas. A new trials bike is for riding and not decorating. Mind you if it was a puppy the RSPCA would be after me. CK PS I think bubble wrap is cheaper. Guest coflet
I bought a sheet of carbon fibre look alike sticky backed cut it to size and stuck it on the bits that may get scratched you have to heat the sheet up with an air gun small edges can chip but overall it will not come off untill you sell the bike then it all looks brand new Edited March 26, 2005 by coflet
sfxer
thats looks good, is that a bit of rust coming through on the weld towards bottom of the pic? or is it just mud?! you could try gentry rubbing down the scratches with some wet&dry, might make them look a bit better. charliechitlins
Sorry, dude...you're stuck with the scratches. Nothing you can do with chrome except keep it clean.
colly
try and t-cut it a bit, wont take the scrathes out (will if you scrub it hard enough for a week) but will get the mud out of it so it wont look as bad. do it on my bike quite abit
