cabby
Just got myself a new rear mudgaurd and sticker, however i suspect im only going to get one crack at applying said sticker. So is there a tried and tested way to get it right ?
smalley250
Easy as this is how i was advised by me mate whom works at BMW uk body shop. I applied stickers following these instructions. Get bowl or bucket of warm soapy water washing liquid i use, soak the sticker in it for 2 minutes then wet the mudguard. Remove the backing of sticker nad a quick dip in water then apply to mudguard. You will be able to adjust and move the sticker into required location then with a damp clean cloth work the water out from the middle to the sides of the sticker, you may want to use a hairdryer to speed you the process, but dont over heat as it may strech the sticker if its thin. Best OF luck
