markmoyer
Hi, I put new grips on my son's 36v bike and now the throttle comes in at half power making it impossible to ride. The grip that I put on the throttle did require a bit of force to go on and I'm concerned I have damaged the throttle position sensor, I have not looked at taking it to pieces yet but was hoping there would be an easy fix before having to strip it. Any advice would be appreciated, cheers, Mark.
dave horne
The grip maybe catching the handle bars and when you apply enough pressure to release it, you're already at half throttle. Try testing the throttle action off the handle bars.
