simmsy
Its time too renew my rear wheel, Its corroded inside and will not hold pressure, I will use a tube as a temporary measure. I am thinking of purchasing a 2001-2003 Montesa 315 Wheel. To save me trawling through old posts can someone inform me if this wheel will fit, and if so does anyone know where too get one. Thanks Edited October 16, 2011 by simmsy

Thanks I'm guessing that it's the steel nipples on the spokes that have corroded and not the alloy rim? If so, it may be a lot cheaper to get the wheel re-spoked and a new rim-band fitted. Just a thought, I have not priced up the job but I reckon a new Mont tape-less wheel ( that Copey says is a no go anyway) has to be in the region of
tony27
The rims can corrode where the tape fits into the groove & then they don't seal any more, my Jarvis has it starting to happen on 1 of the rims & keeping things sealed is a major job

So if I cant find a Sherco wheel I might find a GasGas.
