Hi, I have a 2005 Sherco 125, i do not use it half as much as id like to only for a bit of fun whenever i can. Had it out last weekend running fine, came back to it this weekend and it just wont start. ive replaced the spark plug and cleaned the carb out. The only way i can get it to run is to take the plug out and squirt a bit of fuel straight into the top of the head, and even then it will only run for a second or so until its burnt off the fuel. Im guessing that somehow its not getting any fuel? Although saying that ive checked all the lines and jets etc. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks for reading, Alex

Alex, make sure the petcock is turned on to open or reserved. Next, drop the bowl off the carb and see if the fuel runs freely. It may be that the needle valve is stuck. If so, spray a little carb cleaner into the needle and seat to free up any residue that may have accumulated. Good Luck
