charlie
I have had my 300 Pro Fantic for ages. In this time I have replaced the engine with a 156 taken from a doner 201 bike. Now I want to modify the footrests so they are further back. How much will this cost and where is best to go in and around the Bristol area? woody
First question is why? I've ridden two 300 Fantics recently, both standard with original footrests. I'm over 6' tall and found the 300 footrest height and positioning comfortable. Personally I wouldn't change it as the bike rides very well as it is. Change the actual footrests for modern yes, alter position, no. Personally I don't think you will gain anything in terms of performance and/or ride-ability, the bike is 'right' as it is. If you just want to do it for personal preference though, that's a different matter. In respect of getting it done, Jon Bliss is in your area and he's done work on Fantics (don't have his contact details though)
t-shock 250
Get hold of an engine from a Fantic 300 & fit it in there.
