copemech
Mark, I have gone to the dark side......Haha. I am trying a 2012 2.9 and can't seem to get it to run like I want it, right when you touch the throttle. So just over idle maybe 1/32 throttle. I have tried 42,45,48,50 pilots. JJH(stock) JJJ, JJG, JLH, JFJ, JLG needles. Float level is good. Any Idea's?? Oh good then Michael, you are much nicer than Phillip anyway! Seems to me settings on the Kiehin are not much different on the Sherco for the most. I currently run the OKO(copy) a small bore at 24mm so no apples to apples here. I run the 38 pilot, JJH and am able to set the float level on it a bit lower(21mm as measured) to prevent downhill surge. I have run the 665 Boyesens dual stage reeds for years now, and the bike is butter smooth and progressive off the bottom. Personally, i think the stock reeds a bit abrupt on throttle opening, too aggressive for me. Mike at Tryals Shop had some 665 reeds on the cheap, don't know if he still does? Of course all this is to personal taste and your mileage may vary, wish I could tell you more but that may well give you things to play with. Doo tell!
