gasgasjamie
On the 20th of November, The Worthing Trials Club are running their annual Brian Fowler National at the Hook Woods Trials Centre, in West Horsley. Hook Woods is known for being one of the only bits of land in the south east to have rocks. It is also popular with many of the top riders in the UK today, having hosted two British Championship rounds, numerous British Youth and Ladies rounds and also the Inter Centre Team Trial. The trial is a Clubman National aimed to suit riders from the centre's intermediate route, up to the very best in the UK, and will predominately consist of flowing sections up the numerous rocky gullies. There are three routes to ride, with the Expert being for the top lads and the Expert 50/50 for the centre Expert's out there. The third, Blue, route is being set out to be ridden by any competent club rider who would normal ride the intermediate route in their local centre. This level is roughly the same as the easy route at a S3 round or a Normandale hard route. There will be nothing dangerous. Pictures of the top boys riding from last years event can be found HERE, however the easier route is far more friendly I promise . There is also some video from last years event , , , and .Entries will now close on the evening of Sunday 13th November rather than the 11th as stated on the regs, however if you want to ride and feel you wont get the entry in on time, please feel free to phone Shaun Fowler on 01903 814981 and he will add you to the entry list. Regs: HERE If you have any questions on the event, please don't hesitate to ask on here or phone Shaun with them.
