peterbcz
Hi eveyone, I am new to the world of Trials.... & a late starter too ~ Just wanted to inform the Bike World of an unhappy story. On the 18th of November I collected a '94 Gas Gas 250 from Cheshire that I had bought from an online site. The bike looked great & was just what I was looking for. I stayed at a friends house overnight in Nuneaton on my return journey. The horror when I saw the empty trailer in the morning. I had reversed the trailer & the car along side the house so that the trailer could not be taken. I had not given any thought to the fact that the bike could be lifed off the trailer & over the car......... Take notice all other new boys.... Get a BIG CHAIN to secure your pride to your trailer! ham2
I'm sorry to hear your story Peter, let's hope that it turns up. A rude awakening as to how light a modern trials bike is (74/5 kg?), which is quite easy for two men to lift.
b40rt
any chance you were followed ? might be a place to start looking ! mention to the police who you bought it from, they may be known. just a thought. Thanks for the idea! I think it was unlikely that I was followed on this occasion as the circumstances would have been quite a challenge. But then even more obvious~ Thanks Peter~
