rbbeng60
I was wondering has anyone used viton oil seals in a engine rebuild ? I use them every day in pumps and mixers in chemical works and they work well and out last the bearings. But the only downside is they groove stainless shafts more than nitrile ones do. Just a question to see if anyone has had a go before I do.
ham2
I used to work in hydraulics (long time ago)and I've used them on trials bikes, they are spot on...If you have any freebies I could be your best internet friend ever
axulsuv
Sliding seals yes ,(as in forks ,shocks etc.). But I think you may have issues with a rotating shaft ,ie.crankcase seals, but may work fine on kickstarter and shifter shaft due to there limited travel... just my 2 pence Glenn
