2plus10
Hi guys, I'm having problems getting rid of my brakes squealing like a banshee. Cleaned the disc within an inch of it's life, replaced brand new pads, but still a very annoying squeal. Any ideas how this can be continuing and how to eradicate it ?? Try putting a small 45 degree champher on the leading edge of each pad.

2plus10
Interesting, where do they go ? excuse my embarrassing ignorance. Between pads and pistons ??
pete_scorpa3
Interesting, where do they go ? excuse my embarrassing ignorance. Between pads and pistons ?? Yes, but champering the leading edge of the pads is a lot cheaper, there's nothing to loose by trying it!
pindie
Can't argue with whats above. Some pads come with an anti squeal shim. Try the chamfer though first.
