carb cleaning

hi all as im new to the gas gas when cleaning the carb witch is the best way to clean it? ive got some of the putoline carb cleaner theres nothing with it its gonner be standing a wile in the house so just thought it would be a good idea to give it a clean not sure witch carbs on there think its the one that came with the bike from new its all set up a guy john had it off hear so its been set up proper dont wanner undo anything to upset the seting :guinness:

Hi bud, check out the how to vids on (trials uk)

but i just jot down all the mixture screw lengths by turning the screws in and couting how many turns it takes till they seat all the way in, but dont over do it,,, then when you replace them you know exactly, that they are in the same place as before

then i just remove all screws filters floats and blast out with brake+clutch cleaner, then blast out with an air line

just take your time, and jot the setting down,

Remove all the little brass thingies with a screwdriver slot in them. Clean them with compressed air, carb cleaner and/or a few strands of primary wire (it's soft...never use anything hard like a needle or a drill bit). Make sure you can see light through them.

Do this one at a time so you don't mix them up.
