haggi961
Hey, just wondering if anyone has a guide or knows what bolts to take out to remove the engine/radaitor on the beta evo. Is there also a torque settings for the bike t?. Any help would be great.
pindie
Drain your coolant. Sketch on a piece of card your engine outline. Remove bolts one by one and place into cardboard at the appropriate place. Do this till rad 1st then engine 2nd comes out. Reverse order to put back. Ask Beta for torque settings? chewy
The "tricky" bit on most modern trials bikes is to get the swing arm spindle out without having the bike fall apart... I made for Beta rev a bush/guide which pushes out the spindle & replaces it on one side then continue pushing spindle through the hole in your bush until it clears the engine. Take your time getting it apart and this will repay you when putting it back together...good luck...bart
haggi961
Thanks for the replies guys and tips. Would you say its a easy job to do then and which part of the bike is best to start with first, as in bolts when removing the engine? Also when refilling the coolant do you have to bleed the air out? rlracer
Look up American Beta I believe under support you will find a service manual for the two stroke that should help you with a lot of your questions
