for artie Posted December 26, 2011 Report Share Posted December 26, 2011 (edited) Don't know if it is available in Braveheartland but here in the US we use Rust-oleum Professionsl High Performance Enamel #7519 Stainless Steel color available at your local hardware store in an aerosol spray can and the color is very close to the stock Montesa silver. motomanandy Posted December 26, 2011 Report Share Posted December 26, 2011 Ive tried alot of sprays on my mx covers,all of them didnt last very long,stone chips,discolouring from cleaning fluids etc... ham2 Posted December 27, 2011 Report Share Posted December 27, 2011 (edited) From what I remember when I changed my '98 casings from bronze to silver paint..I first had an idea to rub the surface down with a mind to buffing up to a polished, bare-metal, finish. I knew that my bike had one previous owner (and he hadn't touched it) so the half dozen or so layers of paint that had to be removed were straight from the factory.
