montytess
My front fork adjusting knob (right side) broke off. The cost is about the same as new car to replace! I'm wondering if anyone has found a source for odd parts? They only sell an entire cartridge when all I need is the damper rod that extends the whole length of the right fork. Also, are Montesa's known for being soft on suspension? I couldn't seem to get any bounce out of if but might just be my lack of skill. Thanks mates Edited January 13, 2012 by MontyTess
stevec
It's hard to tell by the illustration but it sounds like you may need the entire damper assembly (page 28, #10: http://www.lewisportusa.com/docs/Montesa%2005%204RT%20Parts%20List.pdf ). Unfortunately, it's not cheap: http://www.cmsnl.com/products/damper-comp-fr_51430nn4003/
