andy.t
I'm still having some problems with my Sammy Miller tank/seat unit dumping crud into the pilot jet and was thinking about giving it a coating of Caswell's GTS 1750 sealant. Anybody know where to get it in the UK? I know people have used it on fibreglass tanks in the past has anyone got any updates on how good it is in the long-term. Thanks for any reply's. bultaco49
Hi It is a very good sealer for fibreglass tanks. I have used it on 7 tanks now over 6 years and no problems to report. You have to order it by phone from here http://www.caswelleurope.co.uk/gastank.htm Or online from here (and a good document to read too) http://www.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/news/22231//Ethanol_-_Part_Two:_The_Remedies There is enough for two tanks so find a 'buddy' to seal another tank as it is pricey. To clean tank I use marine clean from Frosts http://www.frost.co.uk/ Amazing the crud that comes off! Tim
alan_nc
Just to second Caswells use: I did my Sherpa T's tank about 4 years ago and have not had any problems since.
