mattc
Hello everyone, I'm new to this so be gentle. Just having a few issues with the clutch on my 2003 250 pro and wondered if someone on here could answer a question. On taking the clutch apart I noticed the steel plates struggle to slide up and down on the location poles and the poles have scoring on them. Do I clean the poles with emery and file the cut outs on the steel plate so they slide better, or do I need to buy all new? Cheers Matt. The tabs on the fibers only move a small amount. If you took too much from the surfaces it could lead to accelerated wear due to excessive movement of the tabs within the "finger" posts.
