rock hopper
Is the bolt on a tlr that holds flywheel right hand or left hand thread Thanks
noggin
Hi mate, Def a right hand thread. On one the XL models you could use the rear wheel spindle as an extractor. Not sure on the TLR though.
sherpagorri
Hi Rock Hopper, in the tl125 the bolt has a left hand thread, so to unscrew you must turn it anticlokwise, similar to the nut that holds the centrifugal oil filter. tlrider
The retainingg bolt that holds the flywheel onto the shaft is right hand; the flywheel spins CCW while looking at it from the left side of the bike which will tighten a right hand thread as it spins. The threaded hole for the removal tool I believe is left hand.
