andat Posted February 9, 2012 Report Share Posted February 9, 2012 Unfortunately that isn't the case anymore for those who pass a test in the UK for 17-19 yr olds, they are now restricted to 125's, though I see the chap if from Canada, so maybe best to pass a test over there where I assume the laws are different. DVLA website says "After passing the standard motorcycle practical test, you will be restricted for two years to riding a bike of up to 25 kW and a power/weight ratio not exceeding 0.16 kW/kg. After this you may ride any size of bike" How many kW does a 280/290/300 2T trials bike kick out?
