rockyrider
I have noticed that our 125 runs as soon as the bike is started I presume this is not normal should I change the stat or is it ok to run all the time ? I would check the Thermo-Switch in the radiator. Unplug one wire and see if the fan stops. If so, the switch may be shorted to run all the time. ar22
got the new switch havnt removed the old one yet any idea how its fitted looks like it just pops in does the old one just get levered off with a screw driver
tony27
If the switch is in the radiator it screws in, if it's in a housing midway along the the hoses then to remove it you need to open up the metal clip piece then pull out the switch. Replacing it is as simple as pushing back into the rubber sleeve & closing the clip back up. Did the switch come with a new sleeve & clip or do you need to reuse the original? tony27
Sounds to be how I remember, use all the new parts to be safe. When you open the clips you need to twist it to remove it
