I took my eldest on his TY80. The weather had made the course and sections too hard for him. Speaking to one of the guys that set it out, the stream was dry on the Friday! Still I enjoyed it as a result but had to hose me aswell as the bike down when I got home. Would be a great venue for a summer trial at the easy end of difficulty, especially as the Fishemans has a great range of ales and does excellent food. Not sure they would have let us through the door after finishing on Saturday.

Bri8617 - How long did it take you to get going in the end or did you have to resort to pushing it home?

My lad is 10 and still a bit tentative (but despite crashing and hurting himself was still asking when he could have another go). I think it would be good to get him out with someone of his own age and similar ability. Any others out there fancy meeting up at Back Cowm one weekend for a dads and lads session?
