oldcoops
I have a spare BSA victor engine. I have been offered a very pretty beamish rolling chassis. You can see where I’m going with this. However, apart from looking different, sounding great & being a bit of fun, is there any point. I guess coming from a Victor it will be geared for Road & I imagine although the unit Bs weren’t the heaviest engine, it could be too heavy. I expect someone to say stick a side car on it.? Suggestions welcome. Don’t spare the rod, I have thick skin 😂
lemur
Sounds like a blast to ride if you can make it light enough and from what I've seen and ridden that means using a lot of non period parts, like wheels suspension and brakes, with period correct everything it starts to sound like too scary a ride for me. Those things weighed a ton and had brakes like leather.
djr
I would take a few measurements first, if the victor engine is 440cc ? It's probably a bit taller than the Suzuki engine. But where there is a will, there is a way
