caldiboy
Just got a 2006 Beta rev 3 - how do I check the gearbox oil level? The window isn't showing anything but there is oil in there. I'm going to drain and refill just to be on the safe side though but i'd like to know if I'm missing something here. Many thanks Steve. mb4807
Drain and refill with (if I remember right) 550cc. With a cold engine, hold the bike upright and oil should be visible in the sight glass. I go for it being about half way up the sight glass. eminem
is the dexron three ATFas good as the likes of putoline?
pindie
I think it is all very similar. Trials bikes just seem to like thin oil that is changed regularly - every 20 hours etc. If you ever have a clutch issue or notchy gear selection I'd always try an oil change first before you panic.
