jon v8 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Share Posted March 8, 2012 I paid £50 for an SM seat for my Ariel at Telford,it fits OK - but I wouldnt say its good quality.Saying that,the SM tank/seat unit on my TY250 is pretty much like new and its been on there since I bought it in 2006. woody Posted March 8, 2012 Report Share Posted March 8, 2012 The Godden frame is a bit slimmer across the seat tubes, so a normal TY250 seat may need playing with to fit. If you have a Yam framed Majesty there should be no problem. You have to use your own brackets and sometimes these are rusted in and a bugger to remove. Depends what is wrong with your seat obviously (assuming you have one) but if the base unit is still ok why not just get it recovered.
