yamaharhar
I intend to use my 315 for trail riding. Does anyone have any experience of what gearing to use to give 50-60 mph on the road. Your expert help would be apprieciated.

yamaharhar
Thanks Andy. Mines currently running 10/40, so should be marginally faster top end than yours. When the bikes MOT'd I'll try it out.
manofsteele
I'm running 10/40 currently and I'd say you would want to go up to 10/38 something like that.
yamaharhar
Thanks for that. Does anyone know what 38 tooth sprocket will fit. It seems like all listings for 315's stop at 40t rear and 10 t front.
manofsteele
No clue..... I'd speak to Renthal direct if I were you. I'm only assuming one exists....
sherco tom
i have a 315r and my dad has a 98 Gas Gas TXT 250. They both share the same rear sprocket, although not sure if they make a 38t for the Gas Gas.. could be worth a try though! Hope this helps!
