axulsuv
Has anyone ever seen or owned a 1998 C@sta ? And is it just a '97 section with reduced plastic covers ... I'm going to go look at a (the owner says) 1998 Fantic 250 ... Thats about all he could tell me about the bike ... I just figure if I'm gonna get a modern bike , I need the newest Fantic I can find ! steve fracy
Glenn: As far as I know, the Costa was made in very low numbers. It is NOT just a 97. But from what I understood, no one ever really saw one. I would be suprised if it was a Costa, but keep us posted. Would be cool to know if one made it over the pond or not! axulsuv
I'm waiting for a photo he's supposed to be sending , I hate waiting , cause I need another bike to use while I replate my trusty 240's cylinder ! I'd even get one of the last aircooled's if thats what it is ... Not krazy about k roo's though ... A late section would work though... Glenn And would it be sacrilegious if I put a Fresh TY80 motor into the 50cc fm330 I've got ? P6 minereli parts are kinda hard to come by and it would be a easy swap ...?!? htrdoug
FYI,my 309 rips like a motocrosser compared to my 04 Gasgas280...turns good, stops good, only issue is it has USD forks, they work well but I'm always ready for leaking fork seals. Go ahead with th TY80 swap....I think I'll find myself a 300 or 301 Fantic engine and swap it into my SuperSherpa so I'll have a street legal twostroke Edited April 2, 2012 by htrdoug
