bashplate Posted April 12, 2012 Author Report Share Posted April 12, 2012 i gather the honda number for the taper KIT is SSH200, which also fits XL75-185 and XR200 twin shock. still not got an actual bearing number though that we can take to the bearing supplier.......best tell the lazy sh*t to take his forks to bits so we can measure the shaft and pocket size which will enable us to look at the size charts. 90vanman Posted June 14, 2012 Report Share Posted June 14, 2012 Hi, slightly off topic,but I am trying to rebuild a Dax, and want to replace the steering head bearings. I cannot see what holds the taper roller bearings in place,ie pulling together in the headstock tube. I did this job on a BSA Otter but that had sockets for the bearings to sit in.
