breagh
Enjoyed watching that, the slow mo shows just how physical you had to be then. Lost count of the times the forks ran through there travel. Don't think today's twin shock brigade would be too happy riding that section?

woody
Don't think today's twin shock brigade would be too happy riding that section? Exactly - I keep reading how you have to do this, that and the other to a twinshock to make it competitive for today's classic trials which have 'modern' style sections. Where do you find a classic trial with sections like that? Come to think of it, I can't think of any 'B' routes in modern events with sections like that.

As you know some bike 'mods' can be peddled by a monkey with an angle grinder and a welding set, but neither skill nor ability are available this way. Are they the Fornales shocks?... They don't look like them... breagh
Speaking personally, there's sections where I go I won't even try on my modern bike that I happily cleaned in the 80s. Not much you couldn,t have a go at on a decent T,S. Sadly a high percentage of us riders are "getting on a bit", and it's the body not the bike that the problem. Just too stubborn to admit it..
