When on tick over nearly cuts out ,i have to rev to stop engine stalling. But when giving it some power the engine does not miss a beat, but as soon as i shut off the engine sounds as though its searcing for more fuel.

Never worked on this type of carburettor before, there is only one screw which i belive to be the air screw. The carb on other bike had fuel & air screw. Can anyone give me some guidance on what to do or what to check , Thanks :wall:

The larger screw that is angled upwards is the throttle stop. Screwing this in will increase the tickover. The smaller, recessed screw furthest from the motor is the mixture screw. Screwing this in reduces the amount of air mixed with the fuel in the pilot circuit, and vice versa. Provided your jetting hasn't been played with the mixture screw should be about 1.75 turns out, + or - quarter of a turn
