kenco307
well im new to the site so had better start by saying hello !.... i recently brought a 92 zero...however after a while it begins to boil over...so on inspection noticed the fan was not kicking in,i bypassed the thermostat, still no good. wired in a new rectifier, still no joy. however if i connect the two yellow wires off the regulator the fan spins on kick over,so i got hold of a used regulator, guess what?...still no good...surely i have not got two faulty reglators?? any help much appreciated...look forward to hearing from you. stork955
Gday, test the fan with a 12 volt battery. Hooking the stator directly puts anything up to 200 volts AC into it... Cheers, Stork

kenco307
hello again...i have borrowed a multimeter off a mate....slightly unsure what to do with it ! it has a acv 500 or 200 setting are either of these ok to use????.... so obviously one probe wll go on the wire leading from stator to reg , and the other probe should go where ???? can use a volts source next week to check the actual reg out....however i do think its a problem before reaching that far, as i said not sure where to place other probe??? thanks
