Just for my own quriosity, as I think I have a fair grasp on the situation and would tend to be leinient myself.... This All just gets into another debate over no-stop, which I accept, yet personally think "stop for five" too harsh in many ways. Finding balance here has allways been an issue to both riders and observers. People make things soo difficult these days it seems. Seems everything has to be written and interpreted by lawyers! It would be far too simple to state rules like: 1- If the rider gets through with minor hesitstion dragging the bike along, just point him for his dabs. 2- If the same sucker gets himself stuck flogging the bike for a three count or more, he is done.
