bikespace
The only place I tend to bash myself is on my knees, more often than not somewhere on the bike. My favourite at the moment is bashing my right knee on the tank. Don't know why or how I'm doing it really. My knee's swollen up at the moment, but that was from football the other night. Knees seem to be my weak spot. I would think about buying some sort of protection if it was: 1. Light 2. Not a pain in the a*** to keep in place 3. Didn't cost a fortune 4. Didn't look bloody stupid 5. Comfortable (don't want my knees turned it to mush with sweat For me, the protection would be against knocks I suppose, but there may be some advantage to actually providing support as well. Although throughout the years I've had to wear the odd knee support for one thing or another and it has been uncomfortable when the knees fully bent (like it would be when sat down on the longer road trials) As a member of the over 6 foot club it's always a little uncomfortable sat down, to get yer feet on the pegs. At that point I almost need knee sliders as my knees are on the ground
