grib
Does anyone know how easy it would be to fit some wheels from a modern bike in to a 245? Is it just a case of making up spacers or is there problems with the disk size/offset etc?
axulsuv
Can't you use your existing hubs with new bearings and just lace up some shiny new rims ?? Glenn
grib
If I use the existing wheels then I would want to get the hubs powder coated and use a tube type front rim - I was hoping to pick up some 2nd hand wheels to make it cheaper for now. htrdoug
I swapped a older Beta rear wheel onto my 309,sprocket lined up but wider wheel required new spacer/disc mount. Spent a saturday or so on it and works well.best benefit was the flanged rim that requires no rim strip. (swapped because the Fantic hub had a broken sprocket mount tab) Sorry,no pics at this time.
