spawtydawg
Hi, I'm thinking about lowering the foot pegs on my pinky. Is it a worth while mod bearing in mind I'm going to have to pay for the work to be done and will it detract from the value of the bike ? Cheers. mattylad
I have lowered mine to the level of the sumpguard and rearward 20mm and think it is an excellent mod. The bike feels much more modern as the original riding position was a bit a**e in the air for my liking. Simple answer do it. Value is subjective, riders will see it as a positive, collectors will not.
htrdoug
Moved mine down and forward, seem to have had more traction than steering, which does seem better now,but the heavy flywheeled TY350 doesn't pull up the front end as well as my Fantics or my Sherco so it's a tradeoff. Footpegs are still farther from the handlebar grips than my modern bikes Edited June 9, 2012 by htrdoug
