johnnyboxer
Hi chaps Thinking about getting one perhaps, a late 80's version with lights, indicators and speedo for maybe LDT duties or maybe trailriding or to get into observing duties/course help at bigger trials..................so not really to Trial competitively Looks like Parts made be a nightmare to obtain, particularly engine and chassis parts - yes or no? Seen a few tidy ones, so although they are in good order now, then they shouldn't need much maintenance.................right?? Any tips Edited June 9, 2012 by johnnyboxer
barfy
I used to have a Pentax TLM 260, which was a bit more ‘competitive’ than the other TLMs. Parts were OK from Dave Silver (http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/) or CMS (http://www.cmsnl.com/) using the part number. They were surprisingly similar to other models. There is a Honda TLM240 manual on the Honda Trials website (http://www.honda-trials.com/_sgg/m8m4_1.htm). When I had the engine rebuilt the person who did the work discovered that many of the parts were the same as a Yamaha.
